Collection: Reacher Grabber Tools

A grabber tool is a long-handled reacher that picks things up so you do not have to bend, stretch, or climb. The difference between one that helps and one that ends up in a drawer comes down to four things: how far it reaches, how hard the trigger is to squeeze, whether the jaw holds a smooth object, and whether it folds small enough to keep nearby.

GrabbersTool builds every reacher around the same four features: a 360 degree rotating head, a magnetic tip for dropped metal objects, anti-slip silicone jaw pads, and an easy-pull one-finger trigger rather than a full-hand squeeze. What changes between models is reach.

Which grabber tool do you need?

Model Length Folds to Best for Price
GrabbersTool Reacher Grabber 32" 32 in 16 in, folds in half, under 200 g Everyday indoor use, floor pickup, laundry, kitchen shelves $35.99
GrabbersTool Precision Grabber 33" 33 in Fixed head Small objects and tight spaces, where a narrow jaw matters more than rotation $29.99
GrabbersTool Reacher Grabber 43" 43 in 17 in, folds into 3 sections, aluminium alloy, storage bag included Reaching from a chair or wheelchair, high shelves, outdoors, taller users $45.99

How to choose the length

Length is the only decision most people actually need to make, and it is decided by where you will use it rather than by your height. Choose 32 inches if you will be standing and want something that folds into a bag or a drawer. Choose 43 inches if you will be reaching from a seated position, from a wheelchair, or up to shelves above shoulder height, because a 32 inch reacher still leaves you stretching.

If you are unsure, our reacher grabber sizing guide works it out from your own situation.

Who uses grabber tools

Older adults maintaining independence at home. People recovering from hip, knee, or back surgery, where bending is restricted for weeks. People with arthritis or reduced grip strength, for whom the trigger design matters more than the length. Wheelchair users. Gardeners and litter pickers working outdoors.

What a grabber tool will not do

It is a reaching aid, not a lifting aid. It is not designed to take body weight, it should not be used as a walking support, and it will not hold a heavy or awkwardly balanced object safely. If picking things up is difficult because of balance rather than reach, that is a different problem and a different tool.
